Drawing Instructor, William Silva
For
the past decade William Silva has been pursuing
a greater understanding in the visual arts. Now
24 years old he has just graduated from the University
of Southern Main with a Bachelor of Arts in art
and a focus in traditional drawing. Before his enrollment
in Maine, he had grown up in San Luis Obispo and
still considers it home.
He plans to pursue a career as an illustrator by
further refining a broad understanding of visual
techniques and philosophies of styles and artistic
movements. He believes that a solid core understanding
of basic drawing and life drawing techniques can
be taught and used to aid any avenue of visual art
one may be pursing. These skills can be incorporated
into any art regardless of style.
